WINTER SPORTS IN AOSTA VALLEY

Experts consider Courmayeur, Breuil/Cervinia, Gressoney and La Thuile  to be a true skiers’ paradise. Here too CUBE proposes holidays which combine sports, relaxation, food and wine and charm.  Courmayeur is one of the oldest ski resorts in North Italy. It offers not only the possibility to ski in a unique landscape right up close to the Mont Blanc massif, but it also provides visitors with a range of activities from dog-sledding in the nearby Val Ferret, flanked by the  rocky Grandes Jorasses, to heliskiing down breathtaking slopes in fresh snow.  Our customers can alternate sports with relaxation in the delightful thermal baths of Près Saint-Didier, go shopping in the luxury boutiques of Courmayeur, and sample the typical regional cuisine in one of the most beautiful mountain refuges. Accommodation is provided in the best hotels and in cosy little inns.  Instead, freeride enthusiasts will love staying in Breuil/Cervinia whose international  area - connecting pistes on the Italian side with those of Zermatt in Switzerland -  provides  kilometres of downhill slopes covered in fresh powder snow.   Another high level international skiing area, a point of reference for those who love skiing in wide open spaces, is La Thuile – La Rosière which like nearby   Valgrisenche provides heliskiing on the slopes of Monte Rutor.  Last but not least there is Gressoney. Thanks to the vast   Monterosa Ski area connecting Val d’Aosta  with Val Sesia, Gressoney and nearby Champoluc, Alpine skiiers have plenty of room to roam.   For cross-country skiers there are plenty of international-level trails in Val d’Aosta, one of the most beautiful of which is Cogne.  In summary, Valle d’Aosta has an exceptional number of options and CUBE can provide customised holidays which combine great sport, relaxation, fun and haute cuisine.
